Sankyu HongKong!

In Hong Kong on February 29, 2008 at 3:00 am

Björk’s concert was stunning!

The best thing of the concert: the colours, the metalinstrument band, Björk’s accent (she’s so cute) and the international atmosphere.

The worst thing: Nothing! (Well maybe the guards flashing you when you  are trying to make a picture).

Post Secrets

In Art, Life, Vida on February 25, 2008 at 1:45 am

On Saturday night I went out to eat good food. After a while eating canteen my taste becomes almost unsensitive, so Irene, Chris Lai and me we decided to go to Amaroni’s, a delicious American-Italian Restaurant in Festival Walk. I ate Cannelloni, which I haven’t tasted for so long. After that, I went to Page One and bought two books. The first volume of “Post Secrets” and a travelguide of Thailand.

Post Secret is one the most incredible things I have ever seen before. It is a massive community art project, in which people send their secrets anonymously to Frank Warren. I just love the idea. Despite publications, there is a blog which is updated everyday: http://postsecret.blogspot.com/

ECE Tshirt…

In Life on February 23, 2008 at 8:29 am

I’ve been working so hard since yesterday. ECE is so soon… and here I am making the design for the T-Shirt.  It is not 100% done but maybe 97%. I got inspired by Marylin Monroe,  Amelie, Little Red Riding Hood and from the punk mainstream.. In the end, I did something manga-ish, though I wanted something more European-comic-like. Anyways. I think I did a good job. 1.5 hours thinking  + 1 hrs drafting + 0.5 hrs modifying + 1.5 hrs final draft + 1hr computerising + 7 hrs Photoshop work = 12.5 hrs 97% Real Work = Good T-shirt(?) I should be studying maths.. Bye bye!

Weekend and some artistic-ish bites

In Art, Life on February 22, 2008 at 5:53 am

At last, weekend…

– Start Art piece

– Revise Maths and Physics

– Go out, relax and dream with stars…

Brad Kahlhamer

I just found out his art on the net. I guess he uses watercolour to make his painting that are placed in the installation he makes. He uses mainly the female body and skulls. He also has influences from ancestral American Indian aesthetic (eagles, totems, natural elements).

The pictures were taken from : Stuart Shave/ Modern Art

Arg. Grades Grades

In Life on February 20, 2008 at 6:37 am

I got so pissed off about my grades. They are just crap, bullshit… You do everything you are required to do, but in the end, nothing happens, no reward no satisfaction. I’m really pissed off about my art, about how people are everything except sympathetic… You know what-I-mean. And of course, you come here, and you are expected to get good grades, sleep properly and of course socialise. Maybe it is no possible. Maybe it is just not possible….. Ok, I probably need to calm down and go to study. I seriously think this school has so many defects…

Rush Art.

Make an art project come-true in 2 days. That’s my purpose…. I didn’t have the materials, but I’m going to make it! Oh díos mío.

I’ll be probably locked up in the Art Room for the whole weekend.. and tomorrow I have the Fundraising Dinner… Arg!
