Kittiwat Unarrom

I heard about him long time ago, maybe 2 years ago. I read a brief article about an artist that made bread in human shapes. I thought it was amazing! Of course I have forgotten the name but while I was doing my latest art project I realised how connected his work is to mine.

Kittiwat Unarrom is an graduated Thai art student whose family runs a bakery.

He started doing things I actually have no idea of, but I think making art out of dough is a fun idea. I supposed he starts from the concept of appearance. The idea of how we trust what we see. We judge at first sight. Then when the consumer sees all this carnage pieces of meat, he will first feel dizzy and gruesome. But when he tries the bread in real… it will taste wonderfully just like bread… haha.

There are some videos of him during the bread-making process in Youtube. Just youtube his name!

I would like to try the bread myself. I will upload some pictures of my artpiece soon.
